Product care:
As make up/ face or hand wipes, just pop into a drawstring bag or pillow case and wash in your daily wash. You will find that with eye make up, especially, you'll likely need to hand scrub with soap to get rid of mascara/ eyeliner.
As nappy wipes, wash at 60°C for babies under 3 months, if baby has been ill and once baby is weaning.
Air dry.
General hygiene: If used as face or hand wipes, wash separately from underwear or nappy wipes. If you have had any illness or eye infections wash at 60°C and hot steam iron to dry (test temperature on fabric first).
My vision is to create an affordable, appealing alternative to disposable toiletry products.
Combining my love for sewing and my passion to make whatever difference I can to sustaining our beautiful planet, I have created a range of reusable (washable) wipes and pads. Each wipe is individually hand made and comes in unique pattern and fabric to brighten up your daily bathroom routine.
The Beehive: for so many reasons this project is very close to my heart. My dear friends, Jane and Alan, 6 years ago opened their doors in Nakuru, Kenya for their first 'daughter' and 'granddaughter'. The website below gives beautiful explanation of their work and their heart. Please read about them and if you can and wish to, choose to support the wonderful, life changing work they do.
